Menchén Tomàs presents their spring-summer 2016 proposals on the runway of 080 Barcelona Fashion. The Catalan label starts with the masculine that is radically transformed into female creations. A journey in which iconic garments from men’s wardrobe such as the shirt, the perfecto or high-waisted trousers, adjusted exquisitely to the woman’s body.
Rounded shoulders, cinched waists and necklines subtract rigidness to pieces inspired in classic tailoring transporting us to a feminine universe with flowing garments with plenty of flourish.
Georgette, lurex and pleats contrast with fabrics related to men’s fashion such as white poplin or technical nylon that are feminized through the shapes, the embroidery and the colours, like water green or dusty pink, highlighting to the full the woman’s silhouette.
