Ulises Mérida has achieved the L’Oréal Paris Award for Best Collection at the 76th edition of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Madrid.
The creator from La Mancha, who joined the catwalk after two seasons of absence, has garnered the award, which each season highlights the most outstanding fashion proposal showcased on the IFEMA catwalk.
Ulises Mérida has won the award with his “Recreo” collection, a vital and optimistic proposal with which the creator transports us to his childhood. The craftsmanship, with meticulously made crochet pieces, immerses us in his retrospective journey taking us to an innocent and joyful time through relaxed shapes and vibrant colors.
On the other hand, Sevillian Lorena Durán won the Best Model award for this edition, putting the finishing touch to the fashion show days by established creators at the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Madrid catwalk.
