Tradition and vanguard come together in the third round of MBFWM

Davidelfin breaks away from the darkness of his previous collections to present "Psoas" a proposal in which he reveals his passion for sport, embodied in a partnership with Nike. Sportswear garments contrast with feminine looks of flamenco inspiration. The work that the designer from Málaga has carried out in "Carmen", for the National Dance Company, has been the starting point to create a collection filled with ruffles taken to the Delfín territory with zippers to dismantle them, and a merging with patterns from more classical tailoring.

Etxeberria explores with his collection "In plain air" the capabilities of a very summery fabric such as seersucker, material with which he has fully developed his collection. The Basque designer revisits again the classic English tailoring to create completely renovated garments. Outstanding are the accessories and the ceramic details that decorate his proposals, created in collaboration with Carmen Balada.

Juana Martin celebrates her 10th anniversary on the runway of Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Madrid with "Ten-plè," a collection that reviews the more flamenco origins of the label. Fresh and sophisticated, the designer from Cordoba show cases on the catwalk a proposal that plays with the white / black binomial, dotted by golden touches and by garments in lime colour. Natural fabrics like chiffon and silk gazar blend with vinyl inlays, providing a bohemian air to her creations for next spring-summer season.

Teresa Helbig shows on the runway a collection in which she parades again her taste for detail. Intricate embroidery of pearls, crystal applications, lace and braided napa highlight the passion for the crafts of the Catalan designer. Her star garments, made of super-soft leather, are tattooed with flirty hand painted flowers. Chinoiserie is a laborious toil for which she was inspired by the phase in which Chinese culture became fashionable in Paris in the late XVIIth . Oriental styles passed through the chic sieve of Made in Helbig.

The pianist Juan Antonio Simarro has been in charge of providing the soundtrack to the gimmicky fashion show by Ion Fiz. The Basque designer presents a collection of lingerie styles with delicate silks and lace and feathers finishings, in an ode to transparency. Mild garments that contrast with angular pieces made in technological materials and mesh. Le Presage departs from classic lines that are deconstructed to make way for avant-garde and innovative creations.

Maria Ke Fisherman bursts powerfully onto the official schedule of Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Madrid. Maxi logos that roam their garments, dresses and bandeau skirts and sporty inspiration brand a proposal of futuristic airs. The winners of Who's on Next 2014 present on the catwalk crochet garments handmade in an artisan manner in a convent of cloistered nuns. A magnificent union of tradition and innovation that puts the finishing touch to the third day of fashion shows in MBFWM.
