Petite Helbig, the new children’s line by Teresa Helbig

04/12/2020

The Catalan designer launches Petite Helbig by Teresa Helbig, her first children’s ready-to-wear capsule collection. It is a limited edition collection made up of of 40 garments that range from elegant cotton poplin shirts to fanciful velvet plumetti dresses that define to perfection Helbig’s universe.

This new line is directed at girls between 4 and 12 years old. “They, the future Michelle Obama, Meryl Streep, Ruth Bader Ginsburg, Kamala Harris or Diana Vreeland, are our future leaders, and the protagonists of this new project. They will be the voice of a new generation, girls who will lead tomorrow’s world because of their global, digital vision, without barriers and with less and less prejudice “, states Teresa Helbig.

Petite Helbig was created with a clear sustainable DNA. “These girls will lay the foundations for a much healthier, a more inclusive, honest and responsible reality,” adds the Catalan fashion designer. Sensitivity, empathy and generosity are the codes of a first collection in which the irreverent touch that defines each of Teresa Helbig’s fashion proposals is not lacking.

Petite Helbig styles are free, fun, distinguished and diverse as well as complementary: there are fanciful fabrics such as plumetti and gold glitter flock prints, fabrics assembled with a lot of personality such as leather or sequins, elegant timeless fabrics such as wool crepe or tartan wool combined with the naivety of chiffons and silks and demure floral and animal prints.

Very in tune with the essence of the Helbig house, all Petite Helbig garments are made in Barcelona under the most demanding parameters of sustainability and traceability, using high-quality materials and making small productions. In recent months, the brand has developed a Direct To Consumer strategy with the aim of reaching the end customer directly using the digital channels to open the Petite Helbig universe globally.
