The stage of the UMusic Hotel Teatro Albéniz becomes the starting point for Verde, Eduardo Navarrete’s Fall/Winter 2026 collection, presented at OMODA Madrid es Moda through a performance. The collection evokes the imagery of the female artists who enlivened the café-concerts of the early 20th century, women who, with humor, wit and sensuality, defied social norms from the stage. Figures like Tórtola Valencia inspire a collection that revisits that theatrical freedom from a contemporary perspective.
The presentation reinforces its theatrical dimension with the presence on the runway of icons such as Laura Sánchez and Pino Montesdeoca, along with a live performance by Asier Etxeandía. The collection features twenty evening looks constructed from satin, chiffon, and organza, all hand-dyed to inhabit a single shade of green that permeates each piece. Ostrich, rooster, and pheasant feathers adorn dresses and headdresses, while the fashion brand’s iconic faces appear as appliqués and brooches in antiqued silver.
Green here doesn’t function as a trend or a color code: it’s a reference to said theatrical irreverence, one which transformed feminine gesture into spectacle and defiance.
