Coming of age as a manifesto

The brand, under the creative direction of Alejandro Gómez Palomo, presented its "Eighteen" collection at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Madrid, an intimate narrative exploring the transition from youth to adulthood. Palomo marks a double milestone with this collection: the arrival of his eighteenth collection and the beginning of a new chapter in his life and career, coinciding with the relocation of his atelier to Madrid.

Inspired by the cinematic imagery of Sofia Coppola, the collection embodies a tension between innocence and desire, refuge and emancipation. The narrative becomes a generational manifesto: growing up, leaving the family home, and claiming the freedom to live by one's own rules. The title "Eighteen" thus encapsulates both personal emancipation and the brand's consolidation during a period of growth.

Silhouettes are constructed through a delicate interplay of opacity and transparency, strength and fragility. Pastel pinks, aqua greens, and dusty blues evoke a domestic world, interrupted by unexpected cuts, suggestive volumes, and details that hint at escape. Knitwear and leather solidify their status as essential elements of the brand's aesthetic, enriched with floral embroidery featuring Swarovski crystals in green, pink, and blue tones.

Eighteen stands as a declaration of intent: the promise of life transformed into a conscious decision, emancipation celebrated through fashion. A step forward that reaffirms Palomo's artistic maturity and opens a new chapter in his career.
