Duyos, fashion as technology and retro-futurism

21/02/2025

Duyos presents his new fall-winter 2025/2026 collection, titled “TECNO”, inspired by technology and retro-futurism. The fashion show, held at the Museo del Traje in Madrid, was a statement against ageism, highlighting diversity and beauty regardless of age.

On this occasion, Duyos leaves MBFWMadrid for the first time and gathers models between the ages of 18 and 64 onto this unique runway to celebrate beauty in all its forms. The fashion designer brings back some of the protagonists who have been part of his career since the 1990s and 2000s, such as Laura Sánchez, Cristina Piaget, María Reyes or Paola Dominguín, relevant names in Spanish fashion who have accompanied the designer since he began.

Iridescent, metallic and denim fabrics combined with rhinestones, patent leather, pleats, maxi sequins, wool and kidassia create the contrasts in this collection. Also noteworthy is the search for an energetic silhouette, achieved through fluid and strict shapes, cascading or mini dresses with flared and balloon cuts where maxi sleeves and oversized trench coats play a special role. TECNO is also optimism, conveyed in the choice of the colour palette where bright and iridescent colours predominate, such as white, metallic pink, silver and gold, aqua green, chocolate, ultramarine blue and black.

TECNO is an avant-garde and contemporary collection that contrasts nature with technology, where quality and craftsmanship come together with the continuous reinvention of femininity, which continues to describe Duyos signature style.
