The Asociación Creadores de Moda de España (ACME) organizes the first meeting with Antonio Tajani and the Minister of Industry, Trade and Tourism, Jose Manuel Soria in Madrid. The Vice President of the European Commission and Commissioner for Industry and Entrepreneurship, visits Spain to present his activity plan to the leading representatives from the sector.
This visit is framed within the preparatory activities for the conference to be held later this year in London, where it will be exposed the work carried out by the European Commission with the creative industries and high-end fashion.
Antonio Tajani met with the creators, Agatha Ruiz de la Prada, Modesto Lomba, David Delfín and Helena Rohne; the professional associations of the sector ACME and Fedecon, members of the main distribution companies in the country, Inditex and Cortefiel, representatives of fashion labels, DELPOZO and Pedro del Hierro. As well as institutions that toil daily towards the promotion and development of Spanish fashion such as, the Ministry of Education, Culture and Sports; ICEX, and the Community of Madrid.[:]
