Madrid es Moda closing party

21/09/2016

MADRID ES MODA, the urban action of the Asociación Creadores de Moda de España (ACME) for Fashion Week, said goodbye to the IIIrd edition with a closing party organized once again with magazine Hola! Fashion and Hotel Iberostar Las Letras Gran Via. An event attended by designers, models, actresses and professionals from the fashion world, the finishing touch to a few days in which the capital again became the epicentre of national fashion.

Models and designers have worked closely together to ensure that everything works out for the best during this week, and this perfect tandem came together hand in hand during the party. The designers who have participated in the 64th edition of Madrid Fashion Week arrived accompanied by their muses, and some have trusted, to show their creations, the stars that had already shone with their masterpieces on the runway.

For example, Vanesa Romero, who this weekend closed her best friend Hannibal Laguna’s fashion show in a dream dress, and last night turned up to be at his side. Radiant in passion red, the actress giggled non-stop with Laguna, who proudly showed off of his work and happily attended this event.

The complicity between designers and their muses was noted with each arrival to the party. Modesto Lomba (Devota & Lomba) with Maria Reyes (who revealed to us that she has a musical project in hand), Ulises Mérida with a radiant Elena Ballesteros …

Together also posed Juan Duyos and Marta Ortiz, winners of the L’Oreal for the best collection and the best model, respectively. Ortiz admits she had to “hold back tears” when she learned that the prize was hers. She has worked hard to achieve this, but the model ensures that the “big family” they have formed has made it “much more bearable.”

All are well aware of the importance of sticking together when it comes to supporting fashion. Jorge Vazquez made this clear: “It is necessary that designers stand united,” he said. Last night, after some intense days of work, they have met again, but in a different way. If the effort made in recent days had taken its toll on them, the fun of the party took care to dispel the nerves and fatigue, replaced by toasts and laughter.
