Garcia Madrid’s designs step out on the dance floor

22/02/2017

The Cocó dance hall is the setting chosen by signature label GARCÍA MADRID to present the proposals for men’s fashion for the fall-winter 2017/2018 season.

Intimate, with clean lines and full of nuances, the collection by designer Manuel García recovers the artisan work of classic tailoring. Night blue is the protagonist of his proposals inspired by the music of Erik Satie.

This fashion show, which is part of the off runway schedules of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Madrid, features a spectacular staging, animated with the live performance of pianist Javier Coble, composer and habitual collaborator of the National Spanish Ballet and the National Dramatic Centre, which reviewed part of the repertory of Erik Satie.

As a counterpoint, the modernity of artist Cintia Lund, who with her performance completed the soundtrack of a fashion show in which García Madrid’s proposals shone on the dance floor of the mythical Madrid dance hall.
