The Ministry of Culture has awarded the 2025 National Fashion Design Award to Juana Martín, an ACME associate, in recognition to her career, cultural contribution, and international reach.
Since she began in Córdoba, up to her consolidated recognition at Paris Haute Couture, Juana Martín has built a solid, courageous, and profoundly personal career. Her work has been key to transforming the imaginary of Spanish fashion, integrating the Andalusian language and “gitana” identity into a contemporary discourse.
Her collections are visual narratives that combine technique, emotion, and memory. She has managed to transform her brand into a cultural platform that transcends clothing: a clear, sophisticated, and coherent perspective at what fashion can be and what it can mean.
This award acknowledges not only her creative excellence, but also her role as a leading, inspirational, and open figure in the fashion system.
