Capital from Perfumes y Diseño group stregthens Oteyza

09/04/2021

The Oteyza fashion brand gathers strength for its global expansion and business diversification together with Perfumes y Diseño. The fashion Group, owner of the Delpozo brand and chaired by Pedro Trólez, has shown its commitment to the future of the Madrileño brand by acquiring a stake in its shareholding.

With the entry of Perfumes y Diseño the fashion brand, founded and directed by Paul García de Oteyza and Caterina Pañeda, enters a new phase in which internationalization will be one of its main objectives with Asia becoming a key market for Oteyza. This injection of capital will boost its ready-to-wear collection and the launch of a casual line, currently under development.

The revision of the codes of traditional male tailoring are a hallmark of Oteyza, which is characterized by recollecting in its creations the great Spanish cultural heritage with the intent of projecting it into the future, thus uniting tradition and avant-garde. The high craftsmanship applied in the manufacturing processes and the use of sustainable materials have given rise to this fashion brand having established itself in a short time as a creators laboratory in continuous evolution, a work that was acknowledged with the National Fashion Award for Innovation in 2018.

After three seasons presenting their collections at Paris Men’s Fashion Week, Oteyza takes a step forward with this synergy, which seeks to keep the flame of Spanish Haute Couture alive and preserve the enormous cultural and artisanal legacy of our country.
