First edition of Mallorca Fashion Week

01/08/2017

Mallorca joins the circuit of national runways with the first edition of Mallorca Fashion Week, from 26th to 28th of July in the Moll Vell of Palma, including ACME as one of its collaborators.

This new platform for the diffusion of Spanish fashion has welcomed the fashion shows of designers Jorge Vázquez, Ion Fiz, Juana Martín, María Barros, Santiago Bandrés, Alberto Tous and Roberto Diz, among others.

Jorge Vázquez, who plans to open his own store in Palma at the end of August, took to the Balearic capital his proposal for the forthcoming Fall-Winter, Cirque, which he already presented during the last edition of Mercedes Fashion Week Madrid.

The Andalusian designer Juana Martín also presented in her fashion the Fall-Winter 2017-18 collection, Rock-Uz, showcased to the rhythm of the music of Medina Azahara.

Ion Fiz was in charge of closing the first day of Mallorca Fashion Week with “Yacht Club”, the Spring-Summer 2017 collection, available in stores until next September, and which includes garments for men and for women.

María Barros, on the other hand, took to MFW an advance of her Spring-Summer 2018 collection, with a total of 12 looks that pay homage to designer Charles James, considered the first American haute couture designer.
