The algorithm of color

Ágatha Ruiz de la Prada presented at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Madrid her Spring/Summer 2026 collection. True to her signature style of vibrant colors and playful shapes, this collection incorporates, for the first time, artificial intelligence as a creative tool. The result is a dialogue between her own artistic vision and a technologically-driven perspective of the future.

The inspiration stems from the desire to explore new creative frontiers without leaving behind the fashion designer’s characteristic playful and optimistic essence. Iconic motifs such as hearts, stars, and flowers reappear in versions reimagined by the machine, creating a collection that celebrates bold color combinations and daring silhouettes. This collection thus presents a dialogue between the human and the artificial, with color remaining the central theme.

The catwalk featured structured and voluminous dresses, geometric-lined ensembles, and pieces with a pop art sensibility. Shimmering fabrics and synthetic textures enhance the festive atmosphere, while the palette—intensely vibrant, with a predominance of reds, fuchsias, greens, and yellows—maintains Ágatha Ruiz de la Prada’s signature energy. The fashion show itself was a visual explosion, combining surprise and aesthetic coherence.

With her Spring/Summer 2026 collection, Ágatha Ruiz de la Prada demonstrates that her style, rooted in joy and irreverence, can evolve into uncharted territory without losing its authenticity. Thus reaffirming her status as one of the most distinctive voices in Spanish fashion.
