Over 700 attendees gathered at the Fernán Gómez Theater, Centro Cultural de la Villa, to celebrate an evening dedicated to honoring the best of Spanish fashion’s ecosystem. The gala, organised by the Fundación Academia de la Moda Española (FAME) in conjunction with RTVE, acknowledged the work of designers, artisans, companies, and institutions that drive the sector forward with their creativity, innovation, and commitment.
Hosted by actress Karla Sofía Gascón, the evening began with a spectacular red carpet on the steps of the National Library of Spain, transformed into a runway for the occasion. Designers, models, and well-known personalities strolled the runway in pieces designed especially for this unique occasion.
The academic jury awarded prizes in twelve categories spanning the broad Spanish fashion ecosystem. Furthermore, the FAME Board of Trustees presented the Honorary Award to a key figure in the sector: Roberto Verino, an absolute benchmark in Spanish design, a pioneer regarding the international projection of Made in Spain, and a tireless defender of the values of the fashion trades. Founder of ACME and former Cibeles Runway, Verino continues to lead his firm more than four decades after its creation, committed to timeless design, sustainability, and excellence.
