MARCOS LUENGO reopens the doors of his spectacular atelier in Madrid’s Barrio de Salamanca due to the celebration of Madrid es Moda. The designer from Asturias presents his new proposal, titled ‘Fukuoka’.
As usual each season, Marcos Luengo presents a collection inspired by the world of art, this time it is the work of artist Rubén Martín de Lucas ‘El Jardín de Fukuoka’, a Japanese philosopher who developed his particular method based on agriculture as a means for the development of the human being and his harmony with nature.
Marcos Luengo’s characteristic fluid and Japanese-reminiscent patterns transport us to the country of the rising sun through sustainable and natural fabrics such as linen, hemp, silk and cotton, which appear both in plain colors and in patterns with the artist’s work.
