Hannibal Laguna’s firm presented the Fall/Winter 26/27 collection, BLACKNOIR, at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Madrid. This collection takes black as its starting point transforming it into a territory for exploration. Inspired by the pictorial research of Pierre Soulages, the collection understands black as a surface that releases light.
Absolute black appears in striking looks, making a bold entrance on the runway. The silhouette is built from the precision of the torso expanding at the hem. The finishes oscillate between matte surfaces and lacquered highlights. From this dark base, accents emerge of twilight orange, intense green, and fiery red, adding tension to the palette without disrupting its unity.
The silhouette moves towards the sculptural. Bodies that fold with precision, dresses architecturally polished embrace the torso and free the shoulders and backs. Skirts expand their volume to define a waist and create a contemporary hourglass figure. Transparencies refine the structures and add movement. Silk velvet, pleated organza, moiré taffeta, chiffon, and crystal netting support velvety embroideries and faceted jet beads that catch the light with every turn.
BLACKNOIR confirms the house’s technical mastery and its commitment to a couture model, crafted entirely in their ateliers in Spain.
