Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Madrid has awarded Hannibal Laguna the National Designer Award, coinciding with the fashion brand’s 40th anniversary.
The award acknowledges the career of one of the most established names in Spanish fashion, with four decades of work dedicated to craftsmanship, couture, and a unique vision of designer fashion.
Hannibal Laguna’s brand has developed an identifiable style through collections characterized by precise tailoring, elegance, and a consistent focus on formal wear. Its presence in Spanish fashion is part of a story that has mirrored the evolution of Spanish runways and their international reach.
The National Designer Award was created in 2025 to commemorate the 40th anniversary of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Madrid, an initiative by IFEMA Madrid and Madrid’s City Council. Previous recipients of said award include Alejandro Palomo and Juan Vidal.
