Tenerife International Fashion Week (SIMTE) celebrated the 2016 edition at the Tenerife Trade Fair Center, with a program that brought together runway shows, guest projects, and proposals linked to the island’s different territories. Participating fashion brands included Paloma Suárez, Yolancris, Chacho SVNRS, and Diazar, the latter being a part of Isla Bonita Moda.
The runway event showcased diverse approaches to designer fashion, from the work of designers affiliated with Tenerife Moda to guest brands and projects from other institutional fashion programs.
Yolancris was one of the guest brands on the second day of SIMTE, presenting a collection in the Black Box at the Tenerife Trade Fair Center. The brand was part of a program that connected designer fashion with different runway styles.
Chacho SVNRS participated in the Urban Zone, SIMTE’s space dedicated to new interpretations of urban fashion. The brand also presented a collaboration with Mikas, a limited-edition eyewear collection developed specifically for Tenerife International Fashion Week.
Diazar showcased its collection within the Islands of Fashion section, as a part of Isla Bonita Moda. Its presence added a perspective linked to La Palma and the program’s work with the island’s fashion designers.
Paloma Suárez presented her collection on Saturday, within the Caja Negra program. The designer participated in an edition that brought together Tenerife Moda brands, invited projects, and proposals from other island programs.
SIMTE 2026 was held from June 4th to 7th at the Tenerife Trade Fair Center. For four days, fashion filled the Caja Negra and the Urban Zone with runway shows, presentations, and invited projects.
