The Retail Trade Association of Textile and Accessories (La Asociación de Comercio Textil y Complementos – ACOTEX) has granted for the third consecutive year, the ACOTEX World of Fashion Awards. Designer Miguel Palacio was awarded the prize for Best Designer.
Miguel Palacio began his career in 1991, when he presented for the first time in the fashion show Cibeles his label Palacio & Lemoniez. From 1995 to 2000, he worked in Paris collaborating with many companies and acquiring a thorough knowledge of the fashion universe. It is then when he began to establish international business relationships and his collections are seen in the best stores in the U.S., Japan, Hong Kong and Kuwait. A success that allowed him to return to Spain in 2001 with his own brand: Miguel Palacio. Since 2011 he collaborates with Hoss Intropia, creating an exclusive line for the brand Hoss Intropia by Miguel Palacio.
Borja Oria, President of ACOTEX, was on hand to deliver the trophies in a ceremony in which also were awarded the fashion store Yusty, blogger Estefanía Garcia and model Almudena Fernandez.
ACOTEX, the most representative retail organization of fashion and accessories stores, accounts for over 800 brands, designers and stores with about 9,000 points of sale across the country.
