Anton Heunis: an exhibition against cancer

22/02/2016

Investigation against breast cancer and fashion. These are the reasons for the exhibition organized by jewellery designer Anton Heunis for Madrid es Moda at the Urso Hotel & Spa. A solidarity venture carried out in collaboration with other members of the Asociación de Creadores de Moda de España: Juanjo Oliva, Ion Fiz, Maya Hansen, Jorge Vázquez, Teresa Helbig, Ulises Mérida, David Delfín, Devota & Lomba and Juana Martin.

The aim of this solidarity fashion collage is to raise funds for GEICAM, the group leader in breast cancer research in Spain with acknowledged international prestige. Made up by over 780 experts working in 184 hospitals across the country, GEICAM promotes research; clinical, epidemiological and translational, continuing medical education and broadcasting to ensure information to those affected about treatments and their side effects, as well as promoting their participation in clinical trials.

Since its inception in 1995 to date, this organization has carried out over a hundred studies involving more than 45,000 women.

The exhibition will take place on 22nd and 23rd of February in Madrid at the Urso Hotel, located in Calle Mejía Lequerica 8 from 10:00hrs. to 19:00hrs. In said, a voluntary donation to GEICAM may be made.[:]
