Fashion Week presents its schedule

GABANA | Music Club hosted the presentation of Madrid Fashion Week’s next edition. An event that, from the 13th to 23rd of February, will once again convert the city into the epicentre of fashion with the celebration of Madrid es Moda (February 13-18) and Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Madrid (February 19-23), events supported by the programme Madrid Capital de Moda which is led by Madrid City Council’s Government Area of ​​Economy, Innovation and Finance.

Engracia Hidalgo, Delegate of the Government Area of ​​Economy, Innovation and Finance of Madrid City Council, took part in the press call highlighting that “Madrid will be a great stage for an industry that crosses borders. An inclusive industry that represents every person without losing authenticity, that faces environmental challenges by promoting responsible consumption, that responds to market changes by incorporating new technologies, and that focuses on sustainable fashion values ​​and artisan trades. Fashion is a driving force for cultural and economic development and innovative talent that reflects our identity as a city.” Modesto Lomba, president of the Asociación de Creadores de Moda de España, also partook in the presentation together with Daniel Martínez, executive vice president of IFEMA MADRID. Olga Ruiz Castillo, Deputy Director General of Commerce and Consumption, acted as master of ceremonies.

The event was also attended by Óscar Romera Jiménez, General Coordinator of Economy, Trade and Consumption, Ana Rodríguez, director of MBFWMadrid, Valentina Suárez-Zuloaga, creative director of MBFWMadrid, Pepa Bueno, executive director of ACME, Sergio Álvarez, director of the Fundación Academia de Moda Española, and fashion designers and firms participating in Fashion Week. These included: Agatha Ruiz de la Prada, Devota & Lomba, Eduardo Navarrete, Maison Mesa, Pedro del Hierro, Roberto Verino, Pablo Erroz, Malne, Mans, Fely Campo, Javier Delafuente, Marcos Luengo, María Lafuente, Johanna Calderón, Daniel Chong, Miguel Marinero, Paloma Suárez, Odette Álvarez, Serra Studio, SKFK, Carmen Farala and Dolores Promesas.
