The Instituto Cervantes New York presents the exhibit “Agatha Ruiz de la Prada. Poster Design “, which will run from June 18th to July 6th, 2015, in the gallery of the centre (211 East 49th St. New York). The exhibition offers a selection of models, posters and furniture created in over thirty years of work by one of the most international Spanish creators.
The well-known interior designer Luis Galliusi has been in charge of the exhibition design of this exhibit, allowing visitors to discover the freshness and optimism that defines the creations of Agatha Ruiz de la Prada, and which is manifested in all her designs, and very especially in her graphic production, where a dynamic spontaneous trace is associated to her classic bright colours, to the extreme stylization of the motifs and always to the omnipresence of her symbols: hearts, flowers and stars.
