The Olympics dress-up in Spanish fashion

Olympic medallists from Rio 2016 were acknowledged by the Consejo Superior de Deportes (CSD) in a tribute which also served to publicize the activity of the Centro de Alto Rendimiento de Madrid, the event was attended by Minister of Education, Culture and Sports, Iñigo Méndez de Vigo.

The Asociación de Creadores de Moda de España (ACME) has also been present at the CSD’s initiative, allowing many of the athletes honoured to sport designs by Spanish designer brands in a big day for our sport, bringing together once again the best of national fashion with elite sport. Brand García Madrid was in charge of dressing canoeist Cristian Toro; Roberto Verino signed the look of Marcus Cooper Walz also canoeist; Ailanto dressed badminton champion Carolina Marin and journalist Irene Junquera, presenter of the event. Young designer, Moisés Nieto, was responsible for the looks of the gymnasts Artemi Gavezou and Elena López, who sported two designs from the latest collection of the designer from Jaén precisely inspired by the Olympic world.
