Manuel de Gotor

22/05/2015

The designer, specialized in swimwear and lingerie for men, began his career in the fashion world in the 80s. After training in the design school Goymar of Madrid, in 1989 he presents his first collection of lingerie for men during the Fashion Festival in San Sebastian. Since then he has shown his creations in different platforms such as Pasarela Cibeles or Valencia Fashion Week.

In 1997 his designs give the international leap after signing with a European corporation the distribution and manufacture of his creations, expanding his collections of men’s underwear and swimwear to include prêt-à-porter for men, for women and accessories. Between 2000 and 2008 the designer focuses on curating and producing major exhibitions, as well as theatrical productions. His involvement in the art world serves as inspiration for his return to the catwalks in 2008.[:]
