I knew David well before his incursion into the world of fashion, I discovered him one of those wonderful nights in Madrid in one of the performance shows in which he worked in a masterful way directed by Dani Panulo. A unique time for those of us who lived those nights of Madrid full of madness, creativity and magic. During that first stage he already had the manners of a great creator in all that concerned the costumes of his performances and staging.
I always knew of his talent and when the new century began he presented his “so controversial” collection as a designer (I was not surprised, I did not expecting less from him) and I saw without a doubt that a fashion star was born, which he was, demonstrating this throughout his career. Now, in addition to such a special a legacy, he leaves us the memory of a great person, affectionate and endearing, but in my memory I will always remember him for that ETERNAL SMILE.
