María Escoté and Isabel Nuñez join ACME

05/05/2016

The Asociación de Creadores de Moda de España welcomes two new members. Designers Maria Escoté and Isabel Nuñez join ACME, with their arrival already amounting 56 associates.

Maria Escoté is a regular signature in the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Madrid schedule. After participating for three seasons in the EGO platform of the madrileño fashion week, the Catalan designer based in Madrid, was selected by Mercedes- Benz and Luisa Via Roma as the most prominent designer of MBFWM in 2012. That same year she was invited to join up with five other designers, selected from all the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Weeks in the world, to participate in the Firenze4Ever 2012 festival.

And from the beginning, the signature label Maria Escoté has had a steadfast global vocation. The designer has her own online shop since 2010 and her creations can be found in stores worldwide. In addition, the designs by Maria Escoté enjoy great acceptance among Asian celebrities being a constant feature on the red carpet. In September 2013 and after presenting a fashion show for the first time in Beijing, Maria Escoté opened her children’s line of clothing with the new brand “María Kids by María Escoté”.

Also ACME welcomes young designer Isabel Nuñez. The madrileño creator founded her own brand, Inuñez in 2013 and with only 25 years of age she has become one of the bridal fashion references in our country. From her ateliers in Madrid and Vigo more than 200 wedding dresses have been produced just last year. Her creations can be purchased from her own point of sale in Madrid, as well as the online shop and various multibrand stores across the country.

Isabel Nuñez has been trained in the school of design ESNE Madrid, where she was a student of designer Juan Duyos. She stepped into her career in fashion by the hand of outstanding professionals in the sector, such as creator Alma Aguilar and Blanca Zurita, Director of Blanca Zurita Imagen y Comunicación and one of the founders of the runway MFShow, a platform where Isabel Nunez presents each season the proposals for her second line, Inuñez Studio. The achievements earned in her short but intense career path have placed her in the focus of attention of fashion agents. After presenting a fashion show in Tokyo last October, the designer is preparing to step into global markets.[:]
