Telva brings the best fashion to the streets of Madrid

10/07/2014

For the second year running, Telva brings the runway fashion to the centre of Madrid. Under the title Fashion in the Street, the magazine presented a selection of collections for the forthcoming fall-winter season of 28 local and global brands in an outdoors fashion show in Plaza de Colón.

Amaya Arzuaga, Adolfo Domínguez, Davidelfín, Devota & Lomba, Custo Barcelona, Angel Schlesser, Juan Vidal, Roberto Verino, Roberto Torretta, Teresa Helbig, Pedro del Hierro, Victorio & Lucchino, Jorge Vazquez, Miguel Palacio, Agatha Ruiz de la Prada and Juanjo Oliva were the ACME designers participating in this unique fashion show, where also were presented the creations of international brands such as Oscar de la Renta, Carolina Herrera New York or Hilfiger Collection.

Angel Schlesser, Victorio & Lucchino and Adolfo Dominguez advocate a dark winter, with black as the undisputed star of their creations. Miguel Palacio and Davidelfín catch onto this trend, presenting black and white looks as the perfect combination for next season.

The colourful touch was given by the designs of Juanjo Oliva and Agatha Ruiz de la Prada, with collections in which orange and blue were the starring colours.

On the opposite side lie the proposals by Teresa Helbig and Devota & Lomba, designs in soft hues and geometrical games.

The distinct volumes of Amaya Arzuaga imprint character in her creations with a leading role of gold and lamé, also the main thread of the collection of Pedro del Hierro. Jorge Vazquez likewise selects lamé and metallic sparkles. A glowing winter joined also by Juan Vidal with colourful silk mini dresses with intricate applications of sequins.

The contrasts of textures and fabrics are presented as one of the leading proposals for next fall-winter, a trend that Custo Barcelona includes with their proposal of ethnic reminiscence.

Flouting his expertise in the manufacture of garments in Spanish napa, Roberto Torretta converts leather in one the essential fabrics for next fall-winter, just as the wool creations of Roberto Verino, who proposes flirtatious tweed dresses inspired in the sixties.
