A showcase of Spanish design

14/03/2015

The Asociación Creadores de Moda de España took current national design to Extremadura with the exhibition “A showcase of Spanish design”, a journey through the spring-summer 2015 collections of 32 designers.

On the occasion of its annual fashion and beauty trade show held from 14th to 16th March, IFEBA (the Palace of Congresses and Exhibitions of Badajoz) hosts this exhibition, which highlights the best of design Made in Spain shown on the runways of the fashion weeks in Madrid, Barcelona and New York.

Sophisticated evening wear, the more vanguard casual fashion and elaborate jewellery pieces are part of this exhibition, a showcase where well-established names in our fashion scene coexist with young talent that is emerging with force upon the national scene.

Furthermore, on the afternoon of March 14th, designers Ana Locking, Modesto Lomba, David Delfin and Juanjo Oliva participated in a panel discussion moderated by Pepa Bueno, Executive Director of ACME. This was a discussion where they spoke about fashion shows as a key element in the communication strategy of fashion houses.
