Maison Mesa, under the creative direction of Juan Carlos Mesa, presented the Fall/Winter 2026/27 collection, The Beautiful Hours, at OMODA Madrid es Moda, along with a group of previously unseen couture pieces, in a fashion show held at Coque, chef Mario Sandoval’s restaurant. The collection takes the table as its starting point: a space for encounter, diversity, and community where different people, generations, and stories come together.
The Beautiful Hours is envisioned as an emotional sequence, constructed from those hours that remain in our memories: conversations that linger, unexpected encounters, moments when time seems to stand still. The space itself complements this idea: Sandoval’s kitchen, the contemporary artworks adorning the walls of Coque, and the electronic music of Niet! all coexist with the fashion show in a single narrative.
The silhouettes begin with a restrained, architectural construction and evolve into increasingly free, sensual, and light forms, as if conventions were being loosened as the collection progresses. The palette ranges from earth tones and sky blue, crosses pink and green with oranges and petrol blue, and pauses in blocks of color that range from yellow to red, as well as stark black and white. Tartan, pinstripe, washable suede, and cashmere fabrics coexist with lighter textiles: cotton voile, silk muslin, plumeti tulle, and with the shimmer of micro-sequins, water-effect satins, crepe, and organza. The artisanal touches include jewelry by Lisi Fracchia, handbags by Anabella Boffa, Perssam knitwear made in Caravaca de la Cruz, and a collaboration with El Tío Claus.
At Coque, the proposal transforms the table into a real stage setting: Sandoval’s gastronomy, the art that adorns its walls, and the music of Niet! don’t frame the fashion show, becoming a part of the collection itself.
