Heritage and fashion were strongly intertwined at the second edition of Castilla-La Mancha is Fashion, an event held on May 21st and 22nd that established Toledo as a benchmark for fashion design with territorial roots, a contemporary vision and an international vocation.
In iconic locations such as the Santa Cruz Museum and the Puerta de Bisagra, the event brought together over 30 designers and artisans with a common goal: to outline the creative wealth of Castilla-La Mancha and to showcase the region’s emerging and established fashion talent.
Among the highlights were three ACME associated designers, who shinned: Ulises Mérida, Raquel López, and Félix Ramiro. Their participation not only highlighted the territory’s stylistic diversity but also the growing importance of regional fashion within the Spanish creative landscape.
- Ulises Mérida, born and raised in Toledo, was one of the event’s great hosts. His fashion collection stood out due to its fluid elegance by blending heritage and modernity with a sober and emotional visual language.
- Raquel López, a leading figure in bridal fashion and design, presented a collection that balanced delicacy and strength, with a permanent reference to the artisanal techniques that define her distinctive style.
- Félix Ramiro, with a long history in menswear tailoring, closed the event with his “Heroes” collection, a tribute to contemporary men through structured cuts, fine fabrics, and powerful silhouettes.
The event reaffirms ACME‘s role as a catalyst for local talent and a bridge between regional identity and major fashion platforms.
