Johanna Ortiz presented her new collection on March 17th at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Madrid, which includes a range of jackets developed in collaboration with Spanish fashion brand The Extreme Collection.
The collection is a part of the official runway schedule and showcases the ongoing collaboration between the two fashion brands, which into its third year is focused on women’s tailoring.
Within the collection, outerwear pieces take center stage. The jackets, the result of this collaboration, are constructed with a technical approach that emphasizes pattern making and structural precision.
They establish a dialogue between Ortiz’s design language and the processes of the Spanish brand.
These pieces translate the Colombian designer’s vision through The Extreme Collection’s techniques, in a joint effort based on precision and garment construction.
