From the Asociación de Creadores de Moda de Esaña we wish to express our most sincere congratulations to our associate. Agatha is the author of an unmistakable creative universe, so we are very happy that today the magnificent work of one of the most renowned Spanish designers outside our borders has been acknowledged.

Agatha Ruiz de la Prada presented her first collection in Madrid Fashion Week in 1985 and throughout her career she has participated in relevant runways around the world, such as Milan and New York. Her designs are a true medium of artistic expression, reason why they have been shown in numerous exhibitions locally and globally.

Her brand has an outstanding commercial development and since 1986 accounts with more than 100 licenses, translating her creative universe to numerous products beyond the design of fashion, such as ceramics, decoration, stationery, perfumery, articles for pets and a long etcetera.

Agatha Ruiz de la Prada’s creations are distributed in flagship stores in Madrid, Paris, Milan, Oporto, Lima, Bogotá, as well as in its online store, and multi-brand outlets in more than 150 countries worldwide.

She has designed uniforms, costumes and scenery for shows, street furniture, gardens, restaurants, signage, cars … An authentic explosion of creativity that led her to form the Agatha Ruiz de la Prada Foundation in 2011, where an important representation is preserved of her over 30 years of career experience in order to catalogue, preserve and disseminate her impressive documentary legacy.
