Gran Canaria Moda Cálida has chosen the headquarters of the Asociación de Creadores de Moda de España to present the best of design made in Gran Canaria in “Sun Designs”, an exhibit within the program of activities MADRID ES MODA. Swimsuits and lingerie presented in this unique setting for fashion, acting as support in the process of globalization of the brands in the program. The participating designers in this exhibition are: Carlos San Juan, Croissier Swimwear, Dapresa, Hypertrófico Swimwear, Nuria González, Ps Swimwear and Gonzales Underwear.
This presentation event of Gran Canaria Moda Cálida answers the strategy of globalization being followed by the program, wanting to reach more professionals and therefore benefiting from working together. Being present in Madrid during this week can only strengthen our role in the world of fashion and allow us to reach more people.
Gran Canaria Moda Cálida is an action program in the textile fashion industry on the island, created and promoted by the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Handicrafts of the Cabildo of Gran Canaria. The commitment towards local talent is the premise of this institution, being supportive of this sector the ultimate goal of the program. For 20 years and developed by the Cabildo of the island.
Annually organizes three major events: Bridal Collection, Gran Canaria Swimwear Fashion Week and Fashion & Friends, with the aim of encouraging and promoting local design and talent. Among the program´s collective we find brands dedicated to ready-to-wear, fashion ceremony, but above all swimwear.
Gran Canaria Moda Cálida, following the line of promotion of their activities, and the brands that comprise it, attends Madrid Fashion Week to present the three main events that they organize, with particular emphasis on Gran Canaria Swimwear Fashion Week. The Swimwear Fashion Week of the island is the only professional swimwear fashion show in Europe, being a key claim for professionals and fashion lovers.
