On May 26th and 27th, at the Museo del Traje in Madrid, the Ministry of Culture and Sports and the Asociación de Creadores de Moda de España will hold the CONFERENCE ON THE ANALYSIS OF AUTHOR FASHION IN SPAIN AND INTERNATIONAL MODELS. A pioneering event in Spain that will serve as a meeting point for the most relevant European institutions in the fashion industry made up of outstanding professionals from the sector with multiple profiles. A complete program that, through conversations and round tables, will provide a comparative study of the different management models for creative fashion talent in Europe.

Pascal Morand, Executive President of the Fédération de la Haute Couture et de la Mode; Carlo Capasa, president of the Camera Nazionalle della Moda Italiana; Yesenia San Juan, director of the international relations department at the University of the Arts London (UAL); Sarah Mower, ambassador of emerging talents of the British Fashion Council and president of the NEWGEN committee, or Alejandra Caro, marketing director of HARRODS, are some of the confirmed international guests. Spanish directors with a relevant role in international companies also take part, such as Beatriz González-Cristóbal, former vice president of Hermès, or Ainhoa García, former director of prêt-à-porter and footwear at Loewe. An interesting panel that will be joined by firms, entities, organizations and the media with an essential and significant role in fashion. The table was created to develop a strategic program for the promotion and broadcasting of Spanish designer fashion that will allow it to gain economic momentum, increase its competitiveness and obtain the international recognition it deserves for its unquestionable cultural and identity value as well as for for its enormous artisanal crafts heritage.

In addition to ACME, the Mesa de la Moda de Autor is made up of representatives from the Autonomous Communities, Mercedes Benz-Fashion Week Madrid catwalk, 080 Barcelona Fashion platform, ICEX, ENISA, EOI, Tourespaña, the General Directorate of Economic Diplomacy and the General Directorate of Industries and SMEs.
