A Shared Pattern: Daniel Chong x Eduardo Navarrete

08/09/2026

Daniel Chong and Eduardo Navarrete presented their first joint capsule collection at OMODA Madrid es Moda, a collaboration between two designer firms with distinctive styles within Spanish fashion. The presentation, in an exhibition format, took place at Daniel Chong’s boutique on Calle Desengaño in Madrid, with access for media, industry professionals, and invitees.

The collaboration presents designer fashion as a field of experimentation rather than a solo endeavor: two recognizable identities that choose to intersect without being diluted. The collection highlights local production through a contemporary interpretation of craftsmanship and seeks to connect with the public through color, humor, and joy, rather than through rhetoric.

In this particular piece, the collaboration translates some of Eduardo Navarrete’s most iconic prints into Daniel Chong’s universe, reinterpreting the characteristic pattern of his backpacks and accessories. The result retains the essence and character of both brands, created collaboratively and recognisably belonging to both houses simultaneously.

The launch also transforms the point of sale itself into a stage, with Daniel Chong’s store acting as a meeting point for design, craftsmanship, and brand experience.

The result makes the backpack, one of Daniel Chong’s most recognizable pieces, a canvas for the prints with which Eduardo Navarrete has built his identity.
