As a part of OMODA Madrid es Moda’s event, Aurelia Gil staged a performance at Almagro Quince to unveil “Cero”, a brand-new bridal collection within her Bridal 2027 line. The event is part of a collaboration between Gran Canaria Moda Cálida; Gran Canaria Island Council’s initiative to promote the island’s fashion industry, and ACME.
The format is an evolving spectacle, allowing the audience to witness live the process of creating a wedding dress, carried out by the designer and her atelier team, and culminating in a presentation of the designs worn by both models and real-life brides.
The collection goes back to square one to build a bridal universe from scratch—hence the tittle—rooted in craftsmanship, upcycling, and artisanal expertise. Bustiers featured in dresses or in two-piece sets, fluid silk skirts, controlled volumes, and looks that can transition into evening wear explore the fashion house’s DNA through embroidered organza, crinkled fabrics, draping, and off-white and ecru shades. It is a free-spirited, comfortable style concept designed for a contemporary bride who prioritizes personal identity over fleeting trends.
“Cero” brings to the bridal scene her commitment to the crafts, which has defined Aurelia Gil’s career from her Las Palmas de Gran Canaria atelier.
