Eduardo Navarrete's Muses

Designer Eduardo Navarrete presents at Madrid es Moda a tribute to the muses who have shaped his life and professional career.

A capsule collection of six handbags inspired by the personalities of each of the women who have shaped the cultural industry as well as the designer's life: Nieves Álvarez, Alaska, La Terremoto de Alcorcón, Rossy de Palma, Bibiana Fernández and Rosario Flores.

Made from leather by furrier Ana Boffa, the collection champions "hand crafted in Spain", which gives shape to these six handbags inspired by Navarrete's muses.

Maroon in color, rectangular, and with a ruffled flap, the handbag pays homage to Rosario Flores and captures the artist's flamenco flair, while Rossy de Palma's model and its extravagant shapes challenge established canons. With handles, a long, black, envelope-style handbag is Nieves Álvarez's model reflecting the elegance of Saint Laurent's muse, while the model with XL buckles captures the extravagance of Terremoto de Alcorcón. With a leopard print and squared angled shape, Alaska's design represents her rebelliousness, while Bibiana's pouch captures her unique, avant-garde style.

The handbags were presented in a special format inspired by a luxury auction with a charitable purpose that raises benefits for the Association for the Prevention, Reintegration, and Care of Prostituted Women (APRAMP).
