Success of the IIIrd edition of AbFashionDay

17/10/2016

AbfashionDay celebrated its IIIrd edition between 14th and 15th of October, counting amid its participants with relevant national brands such as ANA LOCKING, DEVOTA & LOMBA, JUAN VIDAL, LEYRE VALIENTE, MAYA HANSEN, MIGUEL MARINERO and ULISES MERIDA, among others.

Lola Muñoz is the great architect of this event, held at the Palacio de Congresos of Albacete, which each year shows its commitment to Spanish fashion and in this edition has also wanted to reward local talent through the competition “AbFashion New Talents”. Modesto Lomba, Ulises Mérida and Miguel Marinero took part in the jury who chose as winner of the contest the albaceteño Manu Campayo with his collection “Grotesque Silence”.

Furthermore ACME designers participated in the great fashion show of AbFashionDay, where they presented their proposals for next season. Modesto Lomba was a first timer in this event showing his collection “Wabi-Sabi”, which pays tribute to imperfect and incomplete beauty. Ulises Mérida also premiered at the event presenting his collection “Roots”, which refers to its own origins from La Mancha.

These two creators are added to the list of ACME designers which are regulars of the Albacete runway, such as Juan Vidal, Miguel Marinero, Ana Locking, Maya Hansen and Leyre Valiente, whom yet another year have not missed the call by Lola Muñoz, organizer of AbFashionDay and founder of Siguiendo Tendencias one of the most relevant multibrand stores in our country.
