IV Edition of the window shop competition in Madrid es Moda

11/07/2018

Not to be missed at the Madrid es Moda urban festival is the traditional window shop competition, where in this edition competing window shops are, those made by students of IED and CSDMM in the novel category and window shops of key fashion brands made by window dressers in the professional category, thanks to the support of Madrid City Council through Madrid Fashion Capital.

Novel category

Las Rozas Village, one of the most special shopping destinations in Madrid, is sponsoring this year’s novel window shop competition following the philosophy of the company that supports young talents. Thus, in spaces such as Hotel Iberostar Las Letras or the same Las Rozas Village, we can find window shops of this category where students will show their creations full of imagination and creativity.

Hotel Iberostar Las Letras presents a window shop made by IED students with two looks by Juan Duyos inspired by a vertical garden as the main feature.

CSDMM participates in Las Rozas Village with a bubble window shop with designs by Ana LockingJuan Vidal and Manémané’s Miguel Becer, by the centre’s three design teachers, a futuristic window shop in which to appreciate the designs in 360º.

Professional category

Other spaces such as those of Roberto VerinoPedro del HierroUlises MéridaJorge Vázquez, opt for an award in the professional category. Pilar Dalbat also participates in the window shop competition in the San Pedro Market space, where she will also have a pop up with the mythical garments from her Sacromonte collection (SS 2018). Lauwood, on the other hand, also participates in this category in the Cement Design space of La Latina.
