MBFWMadrid's new committee

On July 2nd, at the Four Seasons Hotel in Madrid, Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Madrid presented the members of its revamped Fashion Committee. The initiative marks another step in the transformation of the Madrid runway ahead of its 40th anniversary.

The Committee’s reconfiguration responds to the desire to strengthen the fashion event’s strategic dimension as well as its role as a leading platform for designer fashion. The new members include profiles with influential careers in different areas of the industry: Ana Antic, branding and positioning consultant; Ana García-Siñeriz, journalist and global director of Vogue College of Fashion; Carmen de Terán, digital growth expert; María Eugenia Girón, entrepreneur; Patricia Sancho, CEO of Atenea Consultancy; Juan Vidal, designer and an associate of the Asociación de Creadores de Moda de España (ACME); and Pepa Bueno, its executive director.

Together with MBFWMadrid’s management team, the new Committee will be responsible for defining the content, formats, and designer selection for each edition, as well as establishing local and international projections.

In a context of continuous transformation, Spanish fashion is updating its decision-making bodies with an open, diverse, and demanding approach. The inclusion of ACME representatives in this process reaffirms the desire to build bridges between creation, industry, and institutional strategy.
