The non-profit organization, Fashion Trust Arabia (FTA) is proud to announce the fashion designers selected as finalists for the 2024 FTA Awards.

The FTA 2024 Advisory Board was responsible for selecting 18 designers as finalists from applications submitted by emerging talents across the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) regions for the opportunity to win one of the six FTA Awards. The Advisory Board also shortlisted four finalists from the Guest Country category, which this year is Spain. The finalists will present their work to the Fashion Trust Arabia Jury in Marrakech on 24th October 2024. The seven winners will be announced that same evening during the FTA Awards 2024 ceremony.

SPAIN, GUEST COUNTRY OF FASHION TRUST ARABIA

FTA invited Spain as a Guest Country to participate in the 2024 edition of the FTA Awards through a seventh award in the category of Guest Country Award.

The Spanish fashion designers will be evaluated by the Fashion Trust Arabia Jury using the same judging process as the other FTA finalists. This collaboration, in partnership with HEAD GROUP, highlights the importance of helping young creatives in different markets build a global network of contacts as well as a support system.

The finalists for the Guest Country Award (Spain) are:

  • Acromatyx
  • Ernesto Naranjo
  • Juan Vidal
  • Leandro Cano

The winning Spanish designer will receive a financial grant of 80,000 U$D in cash.

In addition to retail opportunities, FTA offers all winners significant internationalization benefits, including a one-year mentorship with The Bicester Collection.

Furthermore, luxury ethical fashion retail platform, Maison De Mode will offer one-on-one mentoring to the seven winners focusing on the importance of sustainability and ethical fashion practices.

The winning designers will also participate in a two-day bespoke mentoring program in London in partnership with the British Fashion Council, Brand x Society and The Bicester Collection.
