Brand Acromatyx, under the creative direction of Franx de Cristal and Xavi García, presented collection “8” at 080 Barcelona Fashion. This fashion collection explores the duality between the earthly and the spiritual through numerical symbolism and material transformation. With a poetic gesture, it projects an aesthetic inspired by inner strength, regeneration, and the connection between opposites.
The “8” was intended to function as a symbolic axis: abundance, power, and continuity fuse a conceptual discourse that appeals to permanent rebirth. This narrative was fueled by references to architecture, geometry, and the work of Aldo Chaparro, which guides the tension between rigidity and flexibility.
The garments combine minimalist silhouettes with superpositions and deconstructed processes, generating an organic volume interplay. The palette revolves around timeless black, while the fabrics—wool, cotton, silk, and recycled or surplus materials—reaffirm their commitment to conscious fashion. The technical and the noble coexist subtly in limited capsules that dialogue with each other with their own identity.
