The firm, under the creative direction of Domingo Rodríguez Lázaro, presented SUPERNOVA, its Spring/Summer 2027 collection at 080 Barcelona Fashion, marking the culmination of its tenth anniversary. The star burst at the end of its life cycle acts as a metaphor for the brand’s current moment: the conclusion of one decade and the beginning of a new chapter.
The primary inspiration is Madonna; viewed as a cultural icon in a state of constant reinvention. From her Hollywood era and *Die Another Day* to her performance at the MTV Video Music Awards, her ability to evolve her image, music, and attitude sets the tone for a collection that approaches fashion as a communication tool. The artist’s current phase, Confessions II, marked by her return to electronic and dance music, resonates with the collection’s radiant quality.
The collection spans the entire day, transitioning from the office to the evening. Pinstriped tailoring appears in the form of suits and pencil skirts, while bomber and Harrington jackets change proportionally according to the House’s codes. References to the Space Age, 1990s glamour, and Tom Ford’s era at Gucci, all coexist. Satin, leather, and recycled Tibetan fur are blended with knitwear and high-shine finishes, creating a relaxed sport-chic silhouette featuring cropped jackets, miniskirts, and coordinated sets. The color palette ranges from aquamarine and pastel tones to lilac, lavender, mustard, pink, and soft coral, punctuated by the contrast of black and white.
Footwear and technology have become integral to the firm’s design language, as evidenced by satin boots featuring patch pockets, pinstriped-and-satin stilettos, and a collection of accessories, along with an exclusive look, developed in collaboration with Samsung.
