The Ogadenia Couture brand, a part of the Gran Canaria Moda Cálida program, presented its new "Chicago Made in Spain" collection at Barcelona Bridal Fashion Week, a very special event to celebrate two decades of experience in the fashion world. Designer Ogadenia Díaz pays tribute to the 1920’s spirit of change and freedom by fusing this spirit with the richness of Spanish craftsmanship, creating a collection that combines tradition, modernity, and innovation.
Inspired by the 1920’s flappers, and the women's liberation movement, the collection incorporates iconic elements such as the Manila shawl, traditional embroidery and artisanal techniques which are typical of women's couture, such as the use of silk, lace, beading, and fringes. Each "Chicago Made in Spain" garment represents the pursuit of fashion that celebrates authenticity, expertise and timeless beauty, focusing on fine fabrics, lightweight silhouettes, and unique details that underline each design’s elegance and character.
With this collection, Ogadenia Couture reaffirms her commitment to excellence, the value of craftsmanship, and the reinterpretation of her cultural roots by offering a contemporary and conscious vision of bridal and formalwear fashion.
