MÓ has unveiled a new capsule collection in collaboration with Moisés Nieto, a project that takes as its starting point the process of garment construction translating it to the design of eyeglass frames. This collaboration marks a moment of continuity in the designer’s work, as he expands his visual language into the realm of accessories.
The collection’s design is based on defined volumes and precise construction, where thicknesses and wide temples define the framed silhouette. The pieces’ polished finish reinforces a sense of solidity while maintaining visual lightness that allows for everyday wear.
Among the formal elements, the inclusion of a measuring tape engraved on the metal core of the frames stands out, a detail that directly evokes the work in the atelier and the act of measuring and constructing.
The color palette features deep, neutral tones—black, brown, tortoiseshell effects, and crystal finishes—with an intention of continuity in the pieces’ use and their integration into one’s wardrobe.
The collection is completed with a specific pack consisting of a case and a cleaning cloth, both in cobalt blue matching the overall design.
The image campaign has been developed in a domestic space with a brutalist aesthetic, where light, shadows, and vegetation create the visual environment. The designer himself appears in the images, becoming part of the collection’s narrative. The pieces are now available through the brand’s retail network.
