ACME signs a collaboration agreement with INAEM

The Asociación de Creadores de Moda de España (ACME) and the Instituto de Artes Escénicas y de la Música (INAEM) have signed a collaboration agreement for the promotion and development of the performing arts and Spanish fashion.

In this sense, INAEM and ACME agree to establish and maintain a close cooperation to coordinate their actions and exchange information about their activities with the aim of stimulating the creation of new projects between the artistic directors of the national companies and fashion designers.

The Managing Director of INAEM, Miguel Angel Recio Crespo, and the President of ACME, Modesto Lomba, have signed a collaboration agreement at the headquarters of the National Ballet of Spain and the National Dance Company, where they were accompanied by designers Agatha Ruiz de la Prada, Juan Duyos, Dolores Cortés, Ion Fiz, Francis Montesinos, José Víctor Rodríguez from Victorio & Lucchino and Juanjo Oliva, as well as Antonio Najarro, Director of the National Ballet of Spain, and José Carlos Martínez, Director of the National Dance Company.

Miguel Angel Recio Crespo, Managing Director of INAEM, has stressed the importance of cooperative work in search for cultural excellence: “It is a task of mutual support for the promotion of innovation, creation, promotion and broadcasting of the performing arts in relation to the creation of Spanish fashion.”

In the words of the President of ACME, Modesto Lomba: “With this agreement, the Association seeks to strengthen pathways of work with the performing arts as well as seek new collaborative projects between the Spanish fashion and the National Companies of music, dance and theatre.”
