ACME collaborates again with the best Spanish sport

The Asociación de Creadores de Moda de España joins once again the Higher Sports Council in the delivery of the National Sports Awards, where our top athletes have dressed designs by Spanish creators such as Angel Schlesser, Devota & Lomba, Duyos, Francis Montesinos , Leyre Valiente, Pedro del Hierro and Roberto Verino.

The award ceremony, held at the Royal Palace of El Pardo, was presided by Their Majesties the King and Queen of Spain. Don Juan Carlos and Doña Sofia wished to be present together with Don Felipe and Doña Letizia in the big day of national sport that has acknowledged the hard work of the best athletes in the country.

Spanish women’s sport is going through a sweet moment, this has been evident in the celebration of these awards in which awarded with the Baron Güell Cup have been the women’s soccer teams and rhythmic gymnastics whose team members attended the event dressed by ACME designers.

The Spanish women’s soccer team, who for the first time in their history achieved to qualify for a World Cup, received this award for achievements harvested in the world championship in Canada. Ainhoa ​​Tirapu, Irene Paredes, Elisabeth Ibarra and Erika Vázquez collected the award dressed by label Pedro del Hierro together with their team partner Ivana Andres, who chose a look by Francis Montesinos for the occasion.

The Spanish rhythmic gymnastics team, who ratified their gold in the club final during the World Championship in Turkey, has been another winning team in the morning of today. Alejandra Quereda, team captain, opted for a look by Roberto Verino. Sandra Aguilar wore a dress by Duyos; Artemi Gavezou sported a design by Angel Schlesser; Lourdes Mohedano a suit by Devota & Lomba, and Elena Lopez wore a coat and a dress signed by Leyre Valiente.
