Designer Juanjo Oliva signs the new uniform of Wamos Air, one of the many initiatives planned by the airline company to celebrate its 20th anniversary. A fashion collection presented last night by surprise at a massive event held at the Palacete Duques de Pastrana in Madrid.
With full creative freedom, and based on a technical briefing regarding the needs and functions of the flight and cabin crew, Juanjo Oliva shaped 50 pieces in his Paris atelier seeking a balance between elegance and functionality. Highlighted is the excellent quality and contemporary design of the uniforms, fundamental aspects both for Wamos Air as well as for the fashion creator.
The designer’s couture archives inspire timeless garments that flee from the corseted tradition of uniforms. The crew’s comfort has been sought to carry out their daily tasks without renouncing current lines together with the maximum care of the details and the fashion firm’s unmistakable seal, which also defines the company. Regarding the colour range, Oliva has added a wide range from gray to violet, and green, Wamos Air’s corporate colours.
