Once again this year, the Asociación de Creadores de Moda de España (ACME) collaborates with Mallorca Design Day (MDD), the festival that promotes emerging talent and design in all its disciplines, and which has established itself as a leading platform in the sector. During this fifth edition, Fábrica Ramis hosted a grand gala reaffirming its commitment to innovation and craftsmanship under the motto "Artisanal Intelligence." With journalist Isabel Jiménez conducting the gala, the evening brought together designers, institutional representatives and sponsors to celebrate excellence in design. The gala included the screening of Food Design Film, which explored the relationship between gastronomy, creativity, and sustainability through the eyes of the Island's renowned chefs.
The presentation of the Honorary Awards was one of the evening's highlights, acknowledging the careers of three leading figures: Roberto Verino in Fashion, Lázaro Rosa-Violán in Interior Design, and Tomás Alía in Crafts Promotion. The catwalk also took center stage with the fashion proposals of emerging designers from the MDD National Fashion Awards, where Verónica Lagares González won first prize for her Project the "Synthia collection", an innovative vision of artificial intelligence's integration in fashion. This award was presented by Modesto Lomba, president of ACME, together with Alejandro Sáenz de San Pedro, Regional Minister of Business, Employment, and Energy of the Balearic Islands Government, in a gesture that reinforces the commitment of both institutions to promoting emerging talent.
MDD also recognized creativity in other disciplines with the National Interior Design and Landscaping Awards, honoring Belén Sánchez López for her project "Redes & Raíces" and Belén Martínez Balagué for "Ca l'Íria", a landscaping project that respects the Mediterranean ecosystem. The Festival's director, Raquel Arañón closed the gala by highlighting the event's growth, which has established itself as a key platform for emerging design.
